Callie is, obviously, calico. She is about 2. My neighbors 2 little kids brought her to me one day and said they found her in their yard. I asked them if they could keep her and was told they were moving, so no. I think they had gotten her and when they found out they ‘had’ to move, knew they couldn’t take her with them and knew I had cats so played on my sympathy, probably knowing I couldn’t resist her.
August 16, 2019. A week ago, Callie was in the back of my neighbors truck eating on some pork bones while my neighbor was here. When he left, he didn’t check the back to be sure none of my cats were in there. So Callie took a ride to his place about a mile and a half a way. When my neighbor came back, he told me I lost one of my cats. Jerk – no HE lost one of my cats. My first thought was, one got hit by a car so I freaked out. Finally heard the truth. I was not happy. I went right up there hoping I could find her but no luck. Went a few more time. Still no luck. I kept telling my neighbor he better find her. Well, today he showed him and first thing he asked me was Do I Love Him? I asked why? Asked a few more times until I finally realized he had found out where Callie was. She was at the next place south of his farm. I went right up there. Took a while coax her out but she finally did because she recognized my voice. She is now home. Happy to be home. And will not be going outside for a few days. Happy ending!!!!
